Julius Wilbrand
The greatest chemists of our history have developed artillery that can save mankind. This is evident in the invention of trinitrotoluene (TNT) by Julius Wilbrand on the left. In 1863 in Munich Germany, the German Chemist was attempting to make a dyestuff which is yellow. He did this by the nitration of toluene. This invention was later used as artillery 20 years later.

FURTHER RESEARCH
The production of TNT is complicated however the end result is magnificent. This is a short and detailed video showing the production of TNT. This walkthrough will give a better understanding of many ccomponents in TNT and how to blow things up!

TNT is used most commonly for military, industrial, and mining applications. This chemical compound is used in conjunction of hydraulic fracturing and other complex systems. Many battles in history use TNT as main artillery. The detonation is extremely lethal to vast majority of poeple. The picture above is solid TNT.
